Outright Games has released the first downloadable content pack for its kid-friendly racing game, Race With Ryan, and it’s out today.
The new DLC brings two new dynamic tracks to Race With Ryan. The first is the dangerous and slippery Icy Land, the other is a track inspired by the iconic Route 66. There are also five new racers to put in the driving seat. The cost? £5.99/$7.99/€7.99.
In addition to the new DLC, Outright Games has also announced that it will be releasing a Deluxe Edition of Race With Ryan, both digitally and at retail this October on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
“We’re thrilled today to release the new expansion for Race With Ryan, bringing many more hours of fun for fans of one of our favourite games,” said Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “This is the first downloadable content we’ve created and the family-friendly, ever-expanding Ryan’s World universe is the perfect fit for new and exciting content. With our deluxe edition launching later this year we’re delighted to provide Ryan’s fans and their families across the world with a way to experience the complete ‘Race With Ryan experience’ all in one place.”
I played Race With Ryan last year and reviewed the game after giving it a thorough playthrough. And you know what? I was surprised at just how good it is. It’s obviously not up to the same standard’s like Nintendo’s Mario Kart series, but it’s good enough for kids to enjoy. If you haven’t already, you can read my review through here.
